A graduate of The University of the South, Elizabeth G. “Beth” Boyd is a veteran college administrator, most recently serving the University of Virginia’s College at Wise as Director of Alumni Engagement and Executive Director of the UVA Wise Alumni Association. She previously served in the executive offices of Lycoming College and The University of the South where she was responsible for trustee relations and special events. In addition, she served as the interim director of Alumni and Parent Relations for both Lycoming College and The University of the South.

Personal Interests

Beth Boyd is married to Erskine Head Football Coach Shap Boyd and is a trustee of the American Football Coaches Wives Association and has served as the organization’s president. The Boyds reside in Due West and have three grown children. Beth’s interests include spending time with family, reading, biking, walking the family dog Apollo, and enjoying the great outdoors.
