Profile
Dr. Jack Abraham has taught in Erskine’s business department since 2011. He teaches courses in management, leadership, human resources, and business communications, and has also developed new course offerings in public administration, business communication, and Christian leadership in business. He has taught as an adjunct faculty member at Clemson University, Anderson University, Forrest College, and the University of Memphis.
Professional Experience
Previously, Dr. Abraham was employed in emergency services, working as fire chief at the Anderson City Fire Department, Clemson University Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services, and the Burton Fire District in Beaufort County, S.C. He was also the director of operations for the Clemson University Department of Public Safety.
Publications and Seminars
Abraham has published articles in occupation safety and fire service professional periodicals including Professional Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, Fire Chief, Fire Command, and Fire Engineering.
He has also conducted seminars for multiple organizations, including the American Society of Safety Engineers, Firehouse Exposition, International Association of Fire Chiefs, National Fire Protection Association, and UNC Charlotte.
